Not that bad if you get a copy that doesn't freeze up. I'm on my 3rd one and it freezes too. Rent it and save the heartache.
ive had 2k9 since it came out. it is fun and i do recommend it. BUT, there are some glitches you'll have to look past and learn to live with because 2k is fucking stupid and doesnt understand how to test their own games before they ship them. they put a patch out that fixed a lot of shit but there are still a few glitches that will annoy you beyond belief if you are a franchise junkie like myself. main ones would be: sometimes fly balls fuck with your outfielder and he wont catch it (worste one because it actually affects the game, if you turn the errors all the way down it doesnt happen much and makes errors more realistic...they dont happen every 10 seconds. which is another fuck up by 2k) play franchise with injuries turned off, ya it sucks but injuries happen more than a porn star gets fucked. plus when someone gets hurt, you can expect to never use them again even if the injury is only a month long. there is a glitch that makes players just get stuck with one day left of recovery time. when you do anything transaction wise, as in trade, call up, free agent signing, their appearance will be generic for like 30 games then all the sudden their actual look will come back. your prob. thinkin omg this game is gay. like i said some heavy glitches but IF you can look past them, everything is is pretty dope. hope this helps
Agree ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I have had the game since release date but all the glitches drive me crazy!!! W/0 the Glitches it a def buy. I would rent it and see how you feel about it then buy a used copy if you get hooked to it.
