refs are so ready to oblige purdue on their nonsense not even gonna get to 20 field goal attempts this half cause they are just gonna foul bait the rest of the game
they're just so demonstrably better than everyone else. they can shoot shit from the field, shit from three, you can be hot, pound the glass better, spread the ball better, it just doesn't matter. they'll rotate to whatever works and just beat you to death with it.
I think it's happened a few times. Off the top of my head, UConn did it last year, and the 2018 Villanova team did as well. I'd be surprised if they were the only two.
we did in 09 iirc but uconn may be better. i am guilty of nostalgia but i think they’re one of the few if only teams that could give that squad a game
UConn 3s: 9/24 vs Stetson 3/22 vs Northwestern 10/26 vs SDSU 3/17 vs Illinois 10/25 vs Bama 6/19 so far
It's incredible because I don't think there's any future all stars on the team, they're just so damn sound in every way
This actually reminds me of the florida - ohio state title game in 07 where Greg oden was basically on his own against UF
If UCONN holds on, they'd end on a 13 game winning streak. And potentially only 2 of those 13 would be within 10 points...@ Marquette and vs St John's in BE Tournament
don't think teams are as good as they used to be. would easily take 01 Duke, 05 Carolina, or the 06-07 Florida teams
yeah i am turning into an old boomer because i think all those teams would handle this team with relative ease
lmao hurley is so used to crying about refs that he instinctively asked for an over and back on his own team
