Taking those absences into account, you'd expect tactical changes Lewis - Walker - Stones - Gomez Philips Mahrez - Palmer - Foden Alvarez I'd be suprised if Rodri, Haaland, KdB etc get more than 10 mins. Seems like it will be the biggest rotation of the season.
They may split it up and rest half this game half this weekend. Can't imagine most the team will sit both games. We'll see
KDB, Haaland and Rodri all sat last week. I'm guessing Pep (and probably the players) don't want to get out of their rhythm. Fine line between resting and getting out of rhythm. Probably will all be subbed early 2nd half
My wife is having some issues with her pregnancy and is being moved to labor and delivery now for monitoring. May be watching the finals tomorrow with my new daughter
Was at the Etihad for the Southampton match this season. Did my part in the Treb Don’t post often, but congrats, boys!
What a fucking day, fellas! My heart sunk into my butthole when KDB went out (again) but I knew we still weren't out of it. So fucking happy for the lads!
On a Greek island cruise and the put the game up on the big TV on deck. Got perfect center seats. And some proper Manchester lads sat down next to me. A good time was had.
It's crazy that we won the clubs first cl and the treble and I turn on the espn video discussing it and 5 minutes in its only been discussion about how poor city played... fucking hell. Anyone have some good locker room videos or post game videos, missed that all yesterday
How many times have they mentioned United's 99 treble. Fuck I got tired of hearing about that leading up to the game.
There were a couple posted on City IG https://www.instagram.com/reel/CtWTJcYuZOA/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Rumors starting to heat up now. I've seen Mahrez to Saudi, Bernardo still wanted by PSG but he prefers Spain, Walker on way out. Kovacic on way in and we are after Gvardiol and joining the Declan race. Looks like Pep is going to keep up his yearly squad refresh
love mahrez but there is nothing left for him to accomplish at this level. he’s getting older and would be crazy to not just take a massive check to see out his career hope to have him back but wouldn’t blame him one bit if he leaves
Also rumors club isn't happy with Palmer development and may loan him out. Also read they may want to start playing Foden inside more. If both of those are also true, Mahrez going could create a pretty big hole on our wings (not to mention if Bernardo goes too). A RW is probably on the shopping list this summer with midfield replacement for anyone leaving and a defender if Pep wants to keep playing 3-4 CB a game and Laporte is on the outs
A back 5 of Gvardiol-Dias-Stones with Rodri and Rice sitting in front of them would be pretty formidable...Akanji and Ake may play more than Gvardiol for first year. Kovacic I think would play higher in the Gundo kind of role. If Bernardo leaves and they really want to play Foden more centrally in midfield this year, probably still need to bring in one more wing player as well
Appears we were just being used by west ham to drive up declan rice price. Appears no bid was ever really made
https://www.theplayerstribune.com/p...-city-premier-league-la-liga-barcelona-soccer It's a really nice goodbye
Rice appears to be the next Cucurella, Fred, Kane, Koulibaly and Sanchez Rice would have been a good player but that price seems insane. Not surprised they aren't going to break the British transfer record for him
It sucks for him. He's the clear #3 center forward, but how much actual game time is he going to get behind Haaland and Alvarez? Can't loan him out though, what if Haaland or Alvarez go down for any time?
101st minute goal lol... We suck at community shields so whatever. Was hoping to see gvardiol. But not worried at all. Glad to see kdb playing, thought he was going to be out a while
