It's alright. I think it would be better if it was a more normal animation style, but I get what they were going for.
It's just not really my type of humor, so I think that was the main problem for me. I was amused by most of the stuff involving the kids. Ben Schwartz (Lou) was especially good, and I'm in love with Melissa Fumero from her Brooklyn 99 run.
I liked it. You could tell it was 100% Patton. I almost felt like there needs to be a ‘Pop-Up Video’ or directors commentary version. There were so many little one liners, like MODOK hacking into AIM and dropping the “this is a Unix based system, I know this” line from Jurassic Park. What I don’t get is all the videos/pics of Patton in a life size MODOK costume doing motion capture stuff. I don’t know why they would do that with this animation style. Unless it was just for the 5 seconds of the filter on the Stark-Phone.
