If you watched the episode before it aired or read spoilers leading up to the episode. I'd understand if it was in the DC thread but this thread is devoted to the series. Have some self accountability
Well don't open the thread until you watch the episode then. Not sure what you expect to discuss itt after the finale has aired and you haven't watched it I don't open the arrow or flash threads until I've watched them a few days later
Why would you even want to open the thread if a new episode aired and you haven't watched it? It's pretty obvious the discussion will be about the new episode.
It didn't even cross my mind that a new episode had aired. I'm sure you're familiar with DVR and how days of the week don't matter. I can watch the new Lucifer or whatever show I want on any day of the week. Sometimes I watch it on Monday's sometimes I watch it on Wednesday's. Anyway, I was just mindlessly browsing T-MB and clicking through my Watched Threads and just clicked on this one. The very first post I was reading, before I knew it, was the major spoiler on the season finale of a show. It's not the end of the world. I simply asked dump to utilize the spoiler function. Didn't think asking to do so was such a problem. It's not a hard thing to do.
Forcing everyone to click through a bunch of spoiler tags and having to spoiler all our responses because you can't keep your DVR schedule straight seems a little ridiculous, no? If your DVR says you have a new episode of a show to watch, then don't visit the thread specific for that show until you've watched it. It was the season finale. We're going to want to discuss it. I post in a ton of threads on the TV board, and this is honestly the first time I've seen someone try to demand a thread rules revolve around his personal viewing habits.
What's the protocol for spoilers on a streaming original? Obviously, most of us aren't going to complete the show within a day.
I think he meant shows like Daredevil or House of Cards that all drop at once. If that's the case, then we spoiler things for at least a week, probably closer to two. You just start the post with "Spoiler through Episode 9" and then put what you want to talk about in the spoiler tag. It's time consuming, but, like you said, not everyone is going to be able to watch all episodes in one night or even one weekend when a show drops that way, and we still want to talk about it. Those shows aren't as easy as spending an hour on your couch.
Two weeks seems reasonable to me. After two weeks, most of the discussion of a show will have pretty much run its course too unless it's something that goes viral like Making A Murderer, 13 Reasons Why, etc.
So I read they were sitting on 4 episodes filmed for Season 2, but will he held until Season 3 for a "supersized" season. It makes me wonder if these will now be edited into the story or if they took place after the last aired episode.
Were they stand alone before or after getting rid of Mom though? I presume they'd edit her out, but it seems those episodes may be lacking when they air.
So no reference to Mom who was present all season? That seems very, very unlikely. I know they can edit those parts out.
Those 4 episodes were added on once the season had already started. https://deadline.com/2017/03/lucife...season-2-episodes-migrate-2017-18-1202050153/
Who watched the most recent episode? Spoiler It might have been the best episode yet. The writers for this show hadn't ever written a full hour long that was as interesting as that one was. Came full circle at the end. Still love this show. I also want to bang Decker.
Yeah, that episode took a whole new turn at the end. Good stuff. Excited to see where they go with it.
And the series finale is going to be a huge cliffhanger too, according to the creator. I legit loved this show.
