getting progressively more difficult to watch the show. might need to take a break and catch up in the summer. we discussed this in the old thread, but if this show devolves into him just trying to get with january jones, i'll be extremely disappointed. this show can be so much more than that, and i hope it turns the corner soon.
I am starting to grow tired on Phil 's one shtick. Edit. Should have waited to watch the whole show. Liked the ending.
Anyone else feel like they are slowly maneuvering to Phil and Melissa hooking up in the season finale? We all know it's a thin line between hate/lust with women, and they're starting to make it obvious the romance between Todd and Melissa is gone.
Show is just annoying now. Phil might have sex. Phil does something stupid. Everyone finds out. New person shows up. Wash, rinse , repeat.
Yeah. It's pretty disappointing becuase the first few were great. I felt like they could have gone a few episodes of him being by himself then several with just him and schall before January jones showed up However, seen critics say the network was probably on them to get Jones in the plot quickly
Yeah I think it said 2 episodes left. I want to see if there's a setup for next year, or if they even thought that far ahead.
Yeah its like a cartoon where everything has to reset to the norm no matter what happens in the episode.
I stopped watching after that fat guy showed up and it appeared that Phil truly had no redeeming qualities. Has the status of the show changed or should I continue moving on with my life?
I'd said before that if it turns into 'dumb guy does obviously dumb stuff' it would begin to suck. They took a step in the right direction with him telling the truth and also with everyone being openly hostile and seeing through his idiocy. Then they had him do something idiotic again and killed the vibe. At some point the show has to be more than 'Phil wants to have sex with the attractive women but something prevents it'.
The more people that keep showing up, the shittier this show gets. Loved it when it was just Phil and like 2 other people. Now there's like 200 people and the show is worse for it.
I can't remember a show going from amazing to almost unwatchable so quickly. It's like the decline in quality of The Walking Dead condensed into one season.

They just kept making the same ep over and over which is not that interesting surprisingly. So...the black guy is gay right?
If the show had balls enough to go full on black comedy and kill the new Phil in season 2 it would be my new favorite show.
I feel like they introduced the last three characters way too fast. The older woman and Australian girl are forgettable. I still enjoy the show though.
So most of the season was based around Phil's dumb decsions and his unwanted relationship with Carol and trying to sleep with the other women despite his marriage. The whole reason they got married was because Carol wanted to have sex with him but wouldn't unless they got married. Then they get divorced and she has sex with new Phil without being married. The same woman that won't run stop signs.
they showed her having sex with original Phil and she was doing the same weird shit. What would be the point of going out of their way to show new Phil's interest in her just to make them fake the sex?
The Last Man Dozen People On Earth Show had such promise. Now it's so horrible. I told my wife that the desire to have women desire you was pretty strong and in a lawless society where there are less than a dozen people, black Phil would get killed.
True. But realism isn't really important on a show where pretty much everyone is dead yet there are no bodies, traffic jams, or any sign of previous human life anywhere
Just finished up. Show had some really funny parts but also had quite a lull. Like stated above hope we see some new faces next season. Really liked Carol after the ending and really got annoyed by Melissa halfway thru.
