There are Spoilers so if you haven't seen the entire series don't read. So I have watched the entire series 3 times and every time I watch it, and it makes me wonder everytime why they didnt really go forward with 3 storylines. 1.) Lieutenant Ralls being a homosexual. The one scene you get a quick look at him in a gay bar. 2.) The Greek coming back. Yes he comes back for a bit in Season 5 but it would have been great if he came back longer. 3.) Brother Mouson. I know he and Omar kill Stringer but after that he is gone. It would have been cool to see him come back in Season 5 and help him take apart Marlo's crew
first off let me say that the wire is the best show of all time. I see your points but the series has so many story lines it would have been almost impossible to wrap them all up, and not really necessary. Sometimes loose ends end up being more intriguing and in this case i cant really argue cause the show is fucking amazing. I could easy have seen more than five seasons of that show, its crack. - GO GATORS
At some points in the series it gets incredibly hard to just sit there and watch. Not the boring/bad kind of hard to watch, but the gritty sit there and watch someone destroy themselves kind. I can't think of another series which really seems that real. The drug dealers watching to series to see how the police work is pretty funny. The mayor criticizing season four for being harsh later to be convicted of corruption is even funnier.
