What a great show. I'm disappointed I didn't follow it while it was being originally showed. But anyway, thought it was awesome. GOAT? Discuss.
This. But, Spoiler it's cool that the same little kid said he was Omar two seasons before, only to come back and kill him in the end.
I was glad that I didn't follow it when it was going. that way when I did watch it I could watch everything. also I was :irush: when Spoiler milo didn't get destroyed.
True but he was my favorite character on the show and he was so intrical to everything going on. Also Spoiler I got a lil emotional when Wallace died and felt bad for Bodie. Even though he was thug dude had grown up a lot. Glad Poot got out the game before it was too late
IMO there's only two appropriate times to use the term GOAT, when speaking of Daniel Day-Lewis' acting abilities, and to describe the Wire. it is the greatest TV show of all time ... far and away IYAM
I agree. I was upset that Dukie seemed to get caught up in everything. Was hoping that he would be able to get away from it all
I'm watching it now. Season 1 was great, but I'm 4 episodes into season 2 and it's just not the same. I really don't give a crap about these longshoremen people. Need more Omar, Avon, Stringer
They're both good shows.... it's hard to say which is better. Season 2 is slow at first, but it's one of my favorites.
season 2 is the least gangsta, won't have the same flavor but i still loved the dock characters, are people too!
Gets better at the end. Don't worry though, season 3 brings more of all three characters you mentioned. Most people like season 4 the best, but I am more of a fan of 3.
Got the box set about two weeks ago. On episode 5, season 2. Put in 10 hrs one day but classes starting back slowed that down. Love it so far.
look at the name in the spoiler. it is not Marlo. will be Relevant 20 years from now. I felt the same except that would have been the only way he went out. he was a bad mother fucker no way any one was going to get close enough to kill him.
