Judas (the “new Bioshock”)

This makes me so happy

 

it looks quite interesting

 

I kind of assumed whatever Ken Levine had been working on wouldn't look like more Bioshock. He sounded like he wanted to do something entirely new.

That said I'm all in on this.

 

He’s been on record saying whatever he’s working on has some souls and borderlands influence. Couldn’t gather that from the trailer but I hope he didn’t abandon that idea

Kind of surprised Levine didn't name this one Judas Shock.

Yeah that definitely had a Bioshock feel. Which makes sense. A lot of Arkane came from Irrational I believe.

 

only two more years for release apparently.

 

Still cracks me up that Ken Levine closed Irrational because he wanted to make something new and different. Then the first trailer for his new game and all I can think about is "Yep that's Bioshock or Systemshock with a new coat of paint".

 

Interesting shit here. It’s Bioshock but it’s definitely trying shit that we haven’t seen yet.

 

If you just showed me that without context I would assume it's a new BioShock.

 

thought Ken Levine was never gonna make a game again. hope it is good.
