I agree that Chewy is awesome. I’m sure the company exploits the working class and is indirectly responsible for the pollution of 90% of Mississippi River estuaries, but that’s for about 5-6 other threads on the front page of TMB today.
I thought about doing some juggsian research on them before starting the thread, but figured it would come to light soon enough if they sucked. I’m happy with them and they sent my cat a hand written birthday card with some little toys and treats on the QR, so all good in my book (for now at least).
Maybe it's some major issue at Chewy (no idea), but there's also a chance that dude is just an asshole and shouldn't be in a management role.
As someone in the pet industry, customer service is incredible for an ecommerce company but business model has hurt a ton of mom and pop pet shops
Which sucks, but mom and pop pet shops were steeply declining even before Chewy’s proliferation. My first job was at a local fish store in the early 00’s and it was fantastic.
Everything on chewy is so much bigger than advertised. That’s my only critiqued. Oh and they fired my step aunt in retaliation for getting pregnant.

Pancho has had a number of health issues (and no teeth) which thankfully seem to have corrected themselves, so we’ve been getting prescription food from them for about 3-4 years now. Just a small, nice gesture that put a smile on my face as intended. Spoiler
