I liked it until episodes 6 and 7. They completely jumped the shark.

Agree with everyone here. Thought it was a good concept focusing on individuals/groups instead of the actual collapse of society, but the last few episodes were awful

Was the astronaut dead like Casper ? What was the point of Sam Neil's character?

I like the basic idea of the show but literally every person is so unlikeable. Foundation is the same to a lesser extent. Apple needs to get their shit together, because this is a cool concept handled extremely poorly.
