Just saw the trailer last week watching Silo. Expired for this. Early reviews are positive as well, from what I’ve seen
Just finishing the first episode. The pilot beating the copilot was a bit much, but we’ll see how that plays out. Overall I really liked the first hour and I’m *excited* (not expired, yet) to watch
Thought it was solid. Really cringed after they revealed his “profession” but I get a feeling it’s a bit more complicated than face value.
I’m not gonna rewatch this ep but I’m having trouble connecting the dots on the bullet debate. Ok so somehow a girl finds a rogue bullet in Ep1, this causes the hijack to start early. Setting aside why the fuck a bullet would be there that’s fine. Now we have someone who claims the guns are fake/have blanks. Again, fine and fair enough. But what I cannot remember is why do they think to go looking for a possible random bullet? The flight attendant hasn’t told them about it yet and I don’t think a gun had been discharged. Just something I couldn’t get over whole watching.
This show is stupid as fuck, why can't I turn it off? Somehow they snuck like 6 guns onto the plane, they're over two hours in and haven't made any demands. The TSA woman takes a call in the middle of work and just ran away from her scanner and no one blinks. Fuck this stupid ass show.
I can’t tell if this is cool or dumb but I’m enjoying it which is more than I can say about most shows like this
Who did they kill? I just finished the fighter jet episode but I guess I missed who they actually shot?
The gun went off in ep2 when the 2 old guys tried attacking the brown hijacker. I'm only 3 episodes in, but I assume they were threatening/blackmailing the TSA woman, so she let the weapons through.
Yeah but it's not even remotely realistic. I can suspend belief to an extent for entertainment but there's a million TSA people at every security gate I've ever been through and she runs away from her area and no one notices or says anything?
She says her kids are ill, and I assume someone replaced her? The hijackers were already through by that point, iirc.
I'm not going to debate every point but there's a ton of very unrealistic things that happen and it takes away from the show.
What a dumb show. Love how causal everyone was to get off the plane once they crash landed and they just left the main guy on the plane
So far my two favorite parts are the air traffic control people being the most gullible people on the planet, and the dad being all come on bro that’s totally uncool when the armed terrorist takes the game boy from his kid.
Murders happened in cold blood, politicians debated blowing up a full plane of civilians and STILL the worst person in that show was that kid's mom.
I think the thing that pissed me off the most was the blonde Secretary of whatever insisting they couldn't shoot down the plane that was speeding directly toward fucking London.
This was entertaining, the tone setter for the level of cheesy-ness was appropriately set in the first ep when it zooms in on Idris’ face when his character says “the negotiation” when he’s explaining what he does for a living.
