Wife and MIL are finally watching the show. They just got to the dick pic scene. So jealous they got to experience that for the first time.
I just started watching this, in the middle of the third episode, do Kendall ever improve his interpersonal skills or the lack thereof I should say?
I guess I haven't seen Ferris Bueller recently enough. He definitely seemed familiar but I guess I never looked it up
On episode 5. Feels like this Greg guy is the type of guy that ends up being some sort of secret genius in some way.
Shaming someone for not making a connection from a movie that came out almost 40 years ago We've reached get off my lawn status, fellas.
Just finally binged it all in the past 3 weeks. Lots of thoughts, but I think they got the ending right.
Finished it. Well made, casted, and written. Best show I’ve watched since Better Call Saul finished up.
Why? It wa such an easy binge. I struggled with the first season when it came out, so I decided to put it on hold until it was completed. Ultimately it made it more enjoyable for me.
That wasn't my experience, aside from season 1. I think it took awhile to find enough about the characters to actually root for anyone, but once that occurred I just sat back and laughed at the one liners and constant sabotaging of themselves and each other. On another note, as much as Tom is a total dick sucking, awful business person, and overall moron, I was able to find sympathy for him with his views on his relationship with Shiv. I think even though he was interested in social and economic climbing, I genuinely felt for him because he appeared to expect and want more from their relationship and she was just too damaged to open herself up to it. I almost felt like she treated him like her dad treated them, and him winning was somewhat redemptive from that standpoint. It definitely appeared that love did matter to him.
