The Covid pause on all the release dates saved their timeline a bit but yeah EG was years into the future at release date.
The oldest kid is 16 no? If I was 16 and Hailee Steinfeld showed up at Christmas with a golden retriever I don't think I would have gotten over that crush for the rest of my life.
Me and my wife both went “hi honey I’m home and I brought this 22 year old with me but it’s definitely fine I’m just her mentor not anything else!”
They did a really good job throughout the season of keeping the dynamic between them mentor/mentee. But I had the same thought. Which is actually the first time I had it the entire season.
I was waiting for an awkward “Kate tried to make it romantic but Clint shuts it down” trope moment and I’m glad they didnt
People can say whatever the f they want about Clint, but he showed zero hesitation in throwing hands at a being comprised of an Infiniti stone and vibranium
To be fair, he knew Vision wasn't going to actually try vs him and he knew he was gonna lose the fight regardless.
Mind explaining the watch meaning in this? I have no clue who Mocking Bird is or why they wanted the watch back.
She’s an Agent of Shield that marries Hawkeye for a brief period in the comics. They split and I’m pretty sure never had kids. I asked about the AoS show because in that they had a different MockingBird who marries an Agent named Hunter. Feige’s basically lit that show on fire now re-casting MockingBird and also replacing the DarkHold. It’s assumed the watch was encoded with Shield data and would of exposed not only her and the kids but other ex and current shield agents.
Please. If she was fine with him being locked away incognito with “Aunty Nat” for weeks at a time I doubt she has any worry about Kate and Lucky.
can we switch out Shuri with FitzSimmons now that Letitia Wright is now fully cancelled, like she is fully unvaxxed
Also Linda Cardellini looking the way she does isn't going to be jealous. Even with Hailee looking good.
That was fun. I enjoyed that, and it was also my first time seeing Yelena. She's fucking hilarious the dynamic between her and Kate is fantastic. Steinfeld is going to be a great replacement for Renner. Not too big of a fan the way they leave you on a cliffhanger with Kingpin though. Either way great series and my second favorite of the Disney Plus shows after Loki
I can’t imagine much comes from the Mockingbird thing with Linda Cardinelli. Think it was just a fun nod to a storyline with a useful way to get rid of an AoS plot point.
I’m only 33 and I’d want to murder a 19 year old girl way before I’d want to do anything sexual with her. Like honestly people that age are hyper annoying
Thought it was the most consistently good show of the four series. This show knew exactly what it was, didn't try to be something more, and was just an easy/enjoyable watch from start to finish. Didn't have the highs of Loki or the buzz that WV created, but was just a good show and a good example of how to use the platform for characters/stories that aren't big enough for a movie.
As an explanation, I always avoid show threads unless I'm caught up, and for some reason my son and I got way behind on this one, probably due to The Book of Boba Fett, to the extent we actually started watching MoonKnight instead at one point and we've watched Eternals and DS2. Getting my son's attention away from video games and YouTube and other Marvel/SW content is hard sometimes. But we finally finished up last week so I read this thread. I really enjoyed the show and will watch it again.
They haven’t confirmed anything yet, but reports are Kate Bishop will be involved in MCU going forward
It irks me that most of the Marvel people I know didn't watch the show because "Hawkeye is the shittiest Avenger and I'm not interested in him". The show was still really good.
The elevator scene between the 2 of them gets recommended in a YouTube rabbit hole at least once a week. What I’m saying is, I watch that scene at least once a week.
