Between how the closing few minutes played out and the song that was accompanying it, legitimately got chills watching a network TV show. Never thought that was in the realm of possibility. As others have said, it wasn't a perfect show by any means, but it's tough to think of anything with better acting and aesthetics. One of my favorites ever.
I wish this show went the Sherlock route - 3 episodes each and hour and thirty minutes long. The creator and director are still trying to get either a movie or another season squeezed out somewhere. Seems to be more traction then before. Fingers crossed.
Just binged all 3 seasons in a couple of weeks time. Long overdue and I loved it. Always been a mads fan.....look forward to the next fuller project even if this one is stalled
Are the first three seasons streaming anywhere? Been a long time since I've watched and would love to revisit.
If Netflix gives me a Community movie and a new season of Hannibal I'll never say another bad word about them.
Been rewatching this. Netflix would be crazy not to make a new season. This is better than almost anything Netflix has made.
I watched something this weekend and saw that Hannibal was like #10 on their watched shows. If more and more people tune in, we might lucky with a fourth season. I think it's my favorite show of the last 5 years.
Just started watching this on Netflix. Hannibal gives Harvey Specter a run for his money for best dressed and coolest office. Show is great too.
So what is the status of a possible additional season of Hannibal? We’ve let everybody know, unequivocally, that we’re very interested in returning to the world, and the cast is very interested in returning to these stories. And that’s kind of where it’s left. We’ve knocked on a lot of doors. We’ve handed out a lot of pamphlets: “These are our goals for the show moving forward and this is what we would like to do.” And everybody nods politely and says we’ll think about it and then we usually never hear from them again [laughs].
I don't want to get my hopes up but man, please let this happen. That new Clarice show that CBS is doing looks terrible.
Sorry for the false hope of bumping this thread. Been rewatching this lately and just finished season 2. The finale of Season 2 is up there as one of the best episodes of television I've ever seen and would have been an incredible finale if it needed to be. What I wouldn't give for this show to get another season where they adapt Silence of the Lambs.
