What's ironic is that Allenby said that his caddy wasn't "acting very Australian" when he got up in Allenby's face and wanted to fight him, etc... I don't know any Australian's personally but my (obviously bad) perception is that his caddy was acting very Australian.
Bubba and his caddy are best friends. A couple instances have made it seem like Bubba treats him shitty but he really doesn't.
Whistling Straits and Erin Hills booked for next Thursday and Friday. Also requested one of the caddies that works at Augusta in the winter Feeling smuggy
looks like I know where I'm going on vacation in 2017 for the US Open. wonder how hard it is to get tickets.
My post is coming from someone who is very good friends with Bubbas caddy. Please quit acting like you know what you're talking about. There are plenty of caddies on tour that have strictly a business relationship with their player. Bubba and his caddy are not one of them.
I'm glad to hear it isn't all what it was made out to be when it looked like he was punking his caddy out for a club selection. Bubba just comes off like a whiny bitch to me and I don't much like him for it.
I've never had my clubs fitted before, so I wasn't really sure if it's something that's easily fucked up
I would much rather go to a smaller, local pro shop than either of the big chain stores. Based on my experiences at Golf Galaxy, it's just as hit or miss as a place like Dick's with the quality of service/knowledge you get. That's not to say there aren't qualified guys at GG, it's just you have to find who they are
Pay the extra for the quality fitter. You'll end up saving money because you won't be buying another set of irons next year wondering if the old set was fitted correctly. In all honesty, you may get fit the exact same. But the quality fitter removes doubt, saves you money in the long run, and focuses you on your swing instead of equipment whoring.
I'll get some this weekend and post them. I've been working on trying to stand a little taller, a little closer to the ball, and getting a good hip turn. My hips seem to be really stagnant on the backswing turn but fire hard and cause me to flip the club at impact.
If you're still in Cincy, I believe there's a Golf Digest Top100 fitter on the KY side of the river. The one in Florence: http://www.golfexchange.com/
watching your swing back in the day made me try standing further away from the ball on the range a few times it didn't end as well as it does for you
Please stop acting like I know what I'm talking about? What the shit are you even talking about, you fucking spaz? I don't like Bubba Watson, so what? Never pathetically cited any elite tour sources to prove a point like you. Take a lap. And oh really there are caddies with only business relationships with their players? Wow, you really do have the inside scoop.
Ok then here's the deal. We take a vote. Whoever is cited as adding less to the thread by the people leaves.
