Just watched the pilot on Netflix (moved from Peacock) and I’m in. It’s made by a ton of people who worked on 30 Rock, Kimmy Schmidt and Great News and stars Sara Bareilles and Busy Phillips among others.
Just started as well. Have a huge crush on Sara Bareilles. It's very funny, glad it moved to Netflix.
She’s a natural Tina Fey protagonist and her pipes obviously work perfectly for the show. Love seeing Dean Winters basically playing Dennis Duffy again but all the main cast has been great. Finished season one last night and excited to start the second.
Originally I thought Summer was going to be the Jenna/Jacqueline type but it’s pretty clearly Wickie and she’s great at it
2 eps into season 2. Ready for them to get rid of Rannells. I get he is talented but his character has run its course.
He’s less frequent in season 2, which I like better than season 1 so far. My problem is not so much that Kev’s story is repetitive and more that I can’t look at him without thinking of Kelvin Gemstone who is a much more well-rounded albeit prominent character
