good luck most beloved GOAT admin dearest leader Taques may you power through the surgery with the bulldog-like approach of your dearest Carlos Tevez
Same thing I had and same leg. They took part of my hamstring out for the reconstruction. You get some good pain killers?
took from my hamstring too how long before you were strong enough to move your leg efficiently? i got some hydros which are nice but i read the instructions wrong and was taking one per 6 hours instead of 4
Maybe 3 months or so w/ rehab 3 times a week where I was able to start jogging and some lateral stuff. I didn't feel comfortable doing stuff until at least 6-9 months out just cause the leg itself was weak, being apprehensive and timid on fucking it up again, and it definitely feels different at first, so it takes a little time to get used to. I still have some problems when I snowboard and wake board since that is my front foot and it puts a ton of pressure on it, but other then that it's back to 100%
I was on crutches for 2 weeks or so. Was able to hobble around w/o them. Once you get the leg mobilizer off and you can definitely walk around on it w/o the crutches, but can't really bend it much or put pressure on it.
Yeah probably, but could have been sooner. It was just to hobble around the house etc., but not when I had to go out to school or anything.
haha Yeah that sucked. Trying to keep your leg straight while throwing down a deuce was not a fun experience. Just get your mom or whoever is helping you out to bring you a bed pan ala Cartman in the WoW episode.
you live alone right leave the door open and bring a chair to rest your leg on outside the door as you poop
yea they took my hamstring too, supposedly it makes your repaired knee stronger than your other with dedicated rehab you can be jogging before 3 months, mine was a little different because I was on a ridiculous rehab plan, but I was playing basketball at 5 1/2ish months, and it will take a while after that to be completely confident in it oh and showers were the worst part for me
Yeah I was jogging w/ in 3 months. I had pt three or so times a week for around an hour or so. If you do it everyday or for longer then you definitely can get back faster. I did mine in a preseason football game my senior yr :curses: and I wasn't going to play anything else, so I didn't need a super aggressive rehab to play another sport in a short period of time.
yea mine was sophomore year in the summer, so I really wanted to get back for basketball season at least was doing an hour a day 5 days a week and then on the weekends I had to do flexibility training was miserable
soph year of high school? you were really young and could bounce back from a broken back in no time taxes is an old man and like 270 lbs
yea thats true I forgot he was old and chubby maybe this will be a good thing, he can lose some pounds, get in better shape, just an overall life improving process or he could go the other way and not do anything and get really, really fat
