nah, its basically labeled just who holds what cities/strongholds at the end of book 5. you should be good
oh wow. is the narrow sea really so narrow? definitely didnt imagine that as i was reading through the books.
im trying to use this map as i read through the 5th book. but i think volantis and the area around there is a little screwed up. volantis is supposed to be on the mouth of the rhoyae and closer to meereen. also i dont think the rhoyae empties out into slavers bay.
Map is awesome. I hope we get to see some of these far-off places that haven't been discussed so far. Dude has really created a massive universe with these books.
do we know anything at all about sothoryos, other than the couple cities on the islands and the slavers on the north coast? has anything been said about the cities that are point down. really curious.
bad ass map but agreed with AH that some of the locations seem a bit off. also didn't think the narrow sea was quite so narrow, but I love maps so i don't really care.
yeah i think its difficult to combine the free cities map and the valyria map that are in the books. they dont really seem to connect together.
Comment. I think the map is off with the location of Volantis and how far east the Rhoyne flows. Volantis is on the Rhoyne, but it doesn't go that far east. Saw a picture that is more accurate imo. edit: looking at the map again, I think the problem is Valyria and Slaver's Bay are much too far West.
just looking at this map, it bothers me that we're to assume the great sailors of the Iron Islands have never went west and returned.
