Placed a wager here and there in basketball and baseball over the spring/summer, but now I'm back. Hopefully this year will be as profitable as last year (especially the bowl season). Plays are listed on a confidence basis with a 5* play being the top-rated play.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread Have you looked at Week 1 at all, or is it too early?
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread A little too early for me. I know I could just hedge if something happens between now and then, but I like placing wagers after knowing the possible injuries and depth charts.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread Good luck this year Sem. Let's strap the man.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread Yes. I can't remember the sequence we refined it to.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread Yeah you definitely killed it during bowl season last year.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread First bet of the season: **1st Half: Tennessee +3 (-115) The Titans 1st Team defense played ugly as hell in the first half against the Bucs. Collins had 2 picks. I think this is a similar situation to the Colts last night where Peyton had a terrible prior game. Tennessee knows their strength is their defense. Collins is going to want to show that their offense is just as good. I look for 14-10 Tennessee lead at the half.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread Hope you are right. I took Tennessee on the Money Line. I like Minnesota tonight too with all those QB's playing. I'd rather have Sage or Tarvaris in the 2nd half than whoever KC will be trotting out there.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread John David Booty will be getting a lot of playing time in the 2nd half tonight. Sage will not play in this preseason game.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread (Pick Tonight) Sem is hoping the Titans don't pull an AJ Feely on this last drive.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread (Pick Tonight) That was rough. I know you bet a lot and are used to the bad beats but that was pretty brutal.
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread (Pick Tonight) NFL: 0-1, -2.3 Plays for 8/23 **Jacksonville -3 **Cleveland -3 (-120)
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread (8/23 NFL) ****Cincy -2.5 **Miami/TB Under 37.5 **Jax/Philly Under 38
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread (8/27 NFL) Not good in the preseason. 2-4, -7.1
Re: FSUsem's Regular Season Football Handicapping Thread (8/27 NFL) they're not good bets man. coaches will straight up run plays that are 100% bound to fail (on offense and defense) just to evaluate one certain aspect. winning and scoring points/keeping the other team from scoring aren't the principle objective often enough. dont mean to sound like a lecture just my rationale for staying off preseason
