Started a rewatch last week. I remember growing bored with it during its run and not finishing the series, so I figured I'd give it a go. Just finished season 1. Way better than I remember. Great blend of procedural and serial elements.
Seriously underrated show. I always thought it was a shame Olivia or Walter never got an Emmy nomination, because some of their work on this show was fantastic.
Gets better as it goes on for sure. Very good show, and Walter Bishop is one of the GOAT television characters in recent memory.
I did the same thing as far as getting bored and not finishing. let me know if you get through and if it's worth it.
The first season must suck compared to the rest of the series in retrospect, because I did the same shit as far as not making it through the first season when it originally aired. I decided to give it another shot and blew through S1 into S2, and it was extremely solid all the way to the end.
same here. Loved it when it was first on then once they started the alternate universe stuff I stopped watching. A few months back decided to finish it and loved it again. It really was a really good show, Walter was a great character
The final couple seasons of Fringe are absolutely fantastic. If you enjoyed the show at all during its run, then I strongly suggest you see it through to the end. I promise, as a random message board poster, you will not be disappointed. Obviously you can trust my expert opinion.
