I can’t claim to have watched him intently but all the stats guys are WAY down on him and the scouting guys guys don't think he’s much better. He’s the physical profile I think Chelsea want but does zero pressing or any other defensive work, zero passing, and while an OK amount of shots and xG, you’d want more from a focal 9 for the prices quoted. I think most chelsea supporters would prefer to roll the dice with some combination of Sterling, Nkuku, Broja, and Jackson than sign another 60+ million flop but that might just be me.
You should google what it looked like inside and out two years ago. They did renovations to the interior and made massive improvements.

I’m confident he’ll get the help he needs from Everton’s side. We fuck up a lot of things, but it’s pretty wild how many players have opened up about their mental health struggles while at Everton. Which means we either break them down so far they have to come out or the team has developed a safe enough space that players feel like than can talk about it safely. With the work Everton does specifically in the mental health space, I hope it’s the latter.
