I stumbled upon this show and I am three episodes in and it’s really good. It’s a completely unique story based on a Japanese Manga. It’s part English, part French, and part Japanese. the synopsis sounds strange, but it really is pretty riveting with multiple subplots, and a lot to be learned about wine during the process. “While the world of wine mourns the death of Alexandre Léger, his estranged daughter, Camille, learns his extraordinary collection is now hers. But before she can claim her inheritance, Camille must best Alexandre’s protégé, Issei, in a test of their senses.”
I think this ended up being pretty great? im not a wine person so parts are just kinda meh, but the story outside of that is very well done and it's very well made
I really enjoyed it. I felt the ending was a bit rushed and from what i understand from the source material, they changed it considerably, but my wife and I really enjoyed it.
