I don't think we'll have any clue how much cap room we'll have from this for a while. We can try to void the guaranteed salary but I'm sure Sutton (whenever he reappears) and the PA fight for it.
Would have to see the contract and the language. It says we already voided it, so he'd have to challenge it. Could be language as simple as voided if charged or arrested or I'm sure maybe even failure to notify team of arrest, etc would be in there
His number was high this year because it was so low last year. It's a 3-year, $33M deal with $11M in signing bonus (spread over 5 years). Last year's salary was only $1.1M.
There are so many likeable people in this organization now. And then 3-5 times a year Rod Wood gets quoted in a story by some beat writers talking like he's some important cog in that machine and I can't handle it. Troy Vincent should be allowed a free punch to Wood's face the next time he saw him if he actually asked him that. Fuck that guy.
I doubt the changes are going to be interesting at all. Just hoping they take the stupid WCF patch off (they probably won't) and stop using a stupid font for numbers (slightly more optimistic).
