Just posted this in the DC Thread. I had a lot of questions about this series, but that trailer pretty much sold me.
Ugh. It's sooo much to catch up on. 3 seasons of arrow and 2 of flash. Right? I'm just so dismissive of CW shows. Despite loving The 100
You'll find it more of an enjoyment than a chore. Especially Season 2 of Arrow and Season 1 of Flash. Just in case, watch the first two seasons of Arrow before you start Flash to keep with the timeline.
First two seasons of Arrow, then you can watch the third season of Arrow and first of Flash whichever you want. But I'd suggest alternating episodes, because the two series crossover a lot during the simultaneous season.
S3 of Arrow and S1 of Flash are both currently going on back to back nights. I'd alternate between the two once you get to S3 of Arrow
Oh, and if you're going to alternate episodes, start with E1 of The Flash. Arrow is on the night after Flash, and sometimes events in Flash will carry to the next night's episode of Arrow.
one season of the flash, and it was actually one of the more enjoyable shows on tv this year. arrow is good (was much better in s2 than s3) but worth the watch for sure. and if you're going to watch this show, you'll want to be caught up on everything else. it'd be like watching avengers age of ultron without seeing any of the other marvel movies. also, the suggestion to alternate flash and arrow is key. watch flash ep 1, then arrow s3 ep 1, and go from there. they need to be watched in that way because of the way the shows are intertwined.
I usually really like the comic book movies. Couldn't stick w Shield or Agent Carter. I'll give these a shot based solely on that trailer for a show that doesn't come out until next year. Lol.
So will oliver and Barry just make guest appearances in this show and this will mainly focus on the others?
Awesome I like all the side characters they are bringing into this and love they left out the annoying as fuck ones.
had no idea she was from san diego. and more importantly, had no idea she did a me in my place (NSFW) http://meinmyplace.com/tagged/Caity Lotz
Nah shield season 2 is better than both. Until the last few episodes, arrow season 3 was borderline horrible
Considering how much time Flash and Arrow have spent away from their respective main storylines this season to set up this show, it damn well better be worth it.
Constantine is in for season 2. Evidently they are going to have somewhat different lineups as the seasons progress (provided they renew).
Honestly my least favorite part was laurel and Sarah fighting in the middle of all the computers. Mostly bc of laurel
I think my expectations were sufficiently low and didn't hate it. I wouldn't call it good, but I'll keep spending am hour on Thursdays for the time being.
Well, yeah. We have long established Laurel is the worst and ruins absolutely everything. At least Sara won.
I thought that was pretty terrible. I wish they'd just focus on keeping Flash great and getting Arrow back to S2 level.
Was excited that Caity was back, but not impressed with her Greasy Canary. Damn bitch, wash your hair. Plus in different scenes her outfit was Gold Canary, Silver Canary, but never White Canary, I guess due to lighting or the aforementioned lack of washing and bathing. Overall liked the episode, will continue to watch. Same point about stick fighting among the high equipment as well.
Thought this episode was better than the first one. I'm glad they killed someone off too. The cast is too big.
Episode was much better than the first. Definitely enjoyed our girl Caity in the go-go boots 70's outfit. Also, this sounds pretty cool: AMELL to Appear as DARK KNIGHT RETURNS(ish) ARROW on DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW by Chris Arrant, Editor Date: 28 January 2016 Time: 05:36 PM ET 3333Reddit0Submit0 DC's Legends of Tomorrow CREDIT: CW via ComicBook) that the CW show's sixth episode will feature a visit to the year 2046 with Arrow star Stephen Amell reprising his role as Oliver Queen -- albiet minus an arm. But, he does have a goatee. "Every once in a while, we do an episode where the 10 year-old me has to pinch himself," Guggenheim said. "We're not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we're going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow. As an added bonus to comic book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character’s appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think this episode features some of the coolest things we’ve ever done." Amell has previously stated that his character would never sport the goatee that had become the comic book character's trademark, but looking back at that quote he said he'd never do it "on Arrow." Regarding Connor Hawke, CW previously announcd the character would be appearing in DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but the role has yet ot be cast. DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursdays on the CW.
Show has been better than I expected so far although my expectations couldn't have been any lower. I'm excited for the Arrow crossover next week.
