their current sample menu is different than what their menu had when i went last, but these two are must gets and i got them last time: spicy lamb dumplings garlic noodles i've had like 8 diff things from there and they're all fucking great so you can't really go wrong
Live by that location, went 3 weeks ago and it was trash. Wife and I both agreed we’d just stay committed to Santi’s whenever we need a “casual” Mexican fix. We both really like Pink Cactus (it was down the street from the place we rented for a few months before pulling the trigger to move here), but given all the AirBnB traffic in that area it’s hard to get a spot sometimes.
Taco Boy is very overrated. Priced too high for the quality. We went to Rancho Lewis recently and it was the tits. Everything was fantastic. Highly recommended.
In Kiawah for the month. Just wanted to say Halls Chophouse continues to be my favorite restaurant in the world. The wild mushroom risotto and loaded mashed potatoes are absurdly good sides. Playing the Muni for the first time Wednesday morning.

No doubt. The meats are good. But Halls sets its self apart with the sides and the service. My family went there after my law school graduation which was a party of 20 including 6 kids under 10, 3 of those under 3, and 2 adults around 90. The service was absolutely amazing. They handled everything that night with such a huge and demanding party with such amazing professionalism, understanding, grace, humor and every other compliment I can throw their way.
Yeah honestly just curious if it’s any good. Looking at the menu there is about 5 shrimp and grit dishes I wanna try. Also staying on isle of palms and if you have any suggestions on where to pick up fresh seafood that’d be great. Everything on this island is a way to expensive.
Pick up seafood as in to cook yourself? I usually go to Simmons right off the connector when you get on IOP. Coconut Joes is a good spot to drink and people watch. The food is mediocre but they have a nice 3rd floor balcony with a bar.
There’s a fish market over by Shem Creek which is like 10mi away that I go to often. Not sure further out towards IOP though I’ve never been to Acme so no recs there
I went to coconut joes today. Very awesome place. Simmons is extremely overpriced but you expect that on a vacation island. Just wondering if there something closer to the city that’s cheaper.

Baker and brewer is having a party hosted by the battery, and Crust is having a watch party that day too. Edmunds Oast Brewing is showing all games during the cup during open hours. This is where I watched the 2018 final.

They are up to 7 locations (also Mt. P, Sullivan’s, Columbia, Greenville, and Aspen, CO). But you’re correct, it’s not in Summerville or North Charleston.
Do not and I repeat do NOT go to Wild Wing. That place went from being great to absolutely terrible the past 10 years or so. There's a reason all of the locations are closing.
