Classic BoB there. Gibbs single-handedly gets us down there so we instantly go 3 straight deep routes, which haven't worked at any point all night long.
At least some of it is purely just he thinks receiver should do X and they do Y, but even some of the slants and comebacks have just been off by several yards.
If we do anything other than 3 straight Gibbs carries here I will personally drive to BR and assault BoB myself
That was some strange body language coming off a ball that had zero chance. He's probably let frustration take hold.
He's got too much "I'll just get it back next play/next series" in him. It'll be fine in the NFL where's there margin for error but it's too much in CFB where losing more than a game is a season killer.
Just for the record, the D is playing pretty well, Bryce is having by far the worst game of his career, we have 0 alpha receiver, Gibbs is averaging 8.6 YPC and yet with 12 minutes to go he has 11 carries. That metric alone should lead to BoB's firing
