If enough teams lose in week one to team who played a week 0 game, I think you’ll see a big shift to a lot more tune ups vs fcs games week 0. Then the “big” Labor Day wknd games

you also get an extra bye week, which is nice for heading into conference play

 

all I know is starting a week earlier than everyone else and playing a scrub team to minimize bed shitting right out the gates has me feeling pretty prettyyyy good
