Rumors are he took a detour on the way to their game in Mexico City and spent Saturday night at Hong Kong Club in Tijuana and got in trouble for doing too much cocaine and causing a scene. For those that aren't familiar, Hong Kong is the greatest place in the world one of the largest brothels in the world and it would take a staggering amount of cocaine use to even be noticed in that place, let alone get kicked out for it.
Tijuana is 1500 miles from CDMX. That’s like taking a detour through Las Vegas on your way to Vancouver.
I’d like to be the first to point out that the logistics of this diversion make this story highly questionable
The TJ airport is right on the border. Can park on the U.S side and go through customs. Many Southern Californians do this if traveling to Cancun, Cabo, Mexico City, etc because the flights are much cheaper.
Basically instead of flying from Detroit directly to Miami, he hopped on a quick flight to Chicago for the night then left from there.

I’ve had a few friends make a late night run over the border to Hong Kong. Unfortunately I’ve only ever seen it in daylight. Fun fact: Hong Kong is a 10 minute walk from the restaurant where the Caesar salad was invented.
