Watson's adjusted completion percentage is 73%. Sure, down from the 79% last season, but hardly average. Prior to FSU, his WR's had the highest drop rate in the nation - not sure if it still the highest after FSU.
haven't seen a full list but this was in a PFF article on top college qbs right now i was reading 6. Deshaun Watson, Clemson Tigers This is too low for Watson based on his potential and how he performed last season, and too high based on how he has performed this season. Watson did not have a great outing last week in the Tigers’ close win over Florida State, TK. Watson currently ranks just 24th in adjusted completion rate at 71.9 percent, and he has yet to establish himself as one of the country’s best running QBs this season, after ranking second to only Ward in rushing grade among quarterbacks a year ago.
Chances that we go 0-16? Looking at the remaining schedule I honestly don't see much hope at all. Maybe a chance against Baltimore or Cincinnati?
The Hopefully Hopeless Cleveland Browns If your team is cursed, does it really matter if it finally has a plan? https://theringer.com/cleveland-browns-quarterbacks-curse-4ccf2a54f9d3#.wgiqdhhak
Who do we want in the draft this year guys? We need a new thread title in the theme of "Suck for Luck" and "Jack Off for Goff"
We need to trade all of our 2017 draft picks to acquire like 30 draft picks in 2018. Sit the 2017 season out and just start over in 2018.
The consistency we've maintained for so many years seems like a statistical improbability. How can we never, accidentally, be just above average?
at the game, the first quarter at least, it seemed like the pass pro was really good. I was confused when the QB had all day, then we'd run the ball and the RB was tackled 3 yards behind the LOS. The O Line seemed to be protecting great on pass plays, but had no clue how to block on run plays. I guess 2 ways to look at it - I think the O Line graded out pretty good in pass pro, overall. But there were plays where the D got big, clean shots on the QB, which cant happen.
Something is wrong when you play 5 different QBs out of necessity. I know most of them are bums but one of them gets injured in every game. Kessler has two concussions already?
again, I was at the game, so I didn't have the best perspective, but there were lots of times that the QB had tons of time, and the complaint was not protection, it was - throw the damn ball! Then there were 4 or 5 plays where someone got a very clean, very hard hit on the QB. I didn't think the O line played awful on pass plays, I though they played bad on a couple plays, and could not block on run plays.
Honestly haven't been too connected to the team this year because it's depressing and terrible, so I don't claim to have too informed of a perspective, but these guys just need players everywhere. Think we need to go BPA with the two picks next year. We have so many holes, I don't know how they sit Trubisky or Kizer for a year or two and even pretend to be competitive. Right now, it seems like there are two elite DL that will be available at the top of the board and some decent mid-round worthy skill players. Has Kessler been decent enough that we can at least TRY to trot him out there next year with the team overhauled from a talent perspective?
Yeah, I just didn't go. Swallowed the tickets again. Fuck this franchise. I told Sarah we are done buying season tickets to this garbage. We will just do a 20-pack to the Indians instead- much more enjoyable weather and team.
I'm in the finals for my fantasy football league and I have Phillip Rivers going against the Browns. It's great.
It would have been a bad win if there was a franchise QB to be had. Since this draft is garbage it is better to avoid going 0-16.
Corch In this scenario I am working under the impression we trade for Jimmy Garoppolo. 1: R1P1 EDGE - MYLES GARRETT TEXAS A&M 12: R1P12 EDGE - SOLOMON THOMAS STANFORD 33: R2P1 CB - JOURDAN LEWIS MICHIGAN 52: R2P20 OT - RODERICK JOHNSON FLORIDA STATE 65: R3P1 CB - ADOREE' JACKSON SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 106: R4P1 C - PAT ELFLEIN OHIO STATE 141: R4P36 QB - DAVIS WEBB CALIFORNIA 146: R5P1 DL - EDDIE VANDERDOES UCLA 176: R5P31 LB - JALEN REEVES-MAYBIN TENNESSEE 180: R5P35 QB - CHAD KELLY OLE MISS 186: R6P1 TE - MICHAEL ROBERTS TOLEDO
Depends on what you think about the QBs in this draft. I don't think any of them are better than Garoppolo. I'd be fine trading a #12 for JG.
