I’m not saying this show is anywhere near as good as Dark, but if you liked Dark you might enjoy this

kind of fell a part last 1.5 eps and there are a few plot holes, but it’s a decent 8 episode show

Solid show so far. I'm on episode 5, and they are just starting to put some of the pieces together about the body being in multiple time periods.

At the beginning of the episode ~5:42 into the ep, there is a lady on the phone saying that "those prints are a 100% match with Elias Mannix" -- whose prints did she give her for review? Julian Harker? The dead body? The 1890s detective's lover?

I know that I'd probably have to cross reference the 2 timelines in order to remember which one it was. I thinnnnk it was Harker's (Stephen Graham) though. That makes the most sense.

Also, before I even get introduced to them, I think we are supposed to be anti Stephen Graham cult and pro Chapel Perrilous.

Watched the entire series and yea there are plot holes. But it was entertaining and worth the watch. Curious to see how the second season plays out.

I’ll put these questions in a spoiler, and I’m not done with the show yet (think a I have episode 8 left)

    1. why must Harker always go back to the 1890’s like he states in his recording to his younger self? Is it because he knows he can go back to that time to be loved? Or is he constantly going back to make small changes that influences the future for his own personal benefit?
    2. what do you think goes on between 1941 and 2022 to assure Elias is on the boat with the nuclear detonator? I know the butler mentions 250 recordings being made, but we’re to assume those recordings had the same impact to compel someone to action in the 60s or 90s as it did the lead detective? Like did the Asian kid in the 1st episode get a recording or phone call to get the detective’s attention at the far right March? Did her boss get a call to pull her in on her day off?
    3. Was Whiteman killing the mother / son accounted for by Harker? I’m assuming the plan was for them to carry this all forward and pass down to future generations- again - who’s leading this from 1941-2022?

it’s a closed loop time travel show. He always goes back to the same time because he was already there. He already lived that life. It’s a chicken and egg thing

his family is what pushed him there. They’re all related and it’s a cult. Elias is his own great great? Grandfather. He only exists because he went back in time. It’s just a much smaller universe than Dark but similar concept
