yea I remember during the last writers strike they hodgepodged a spring season together to cover the gap of scripted shows
forgot about taylor playing monte like a fiddle and then immediately dropping him for the other guy once they left the house.
used to love this show so much and attempted at watching the last two seasons and ended up stopping early on. want this show to get back to what it once was but i doubt it
It never will. After all the drama and real life consequences some of the past 5 or so seasons have had, people are always on guard to not say or do anything extremely dumb.
I've only been watching feeds since BB14 so that might color my judgement but IMO some of the earlier seasons have good moments but are a little boring. However my favorite seasons are 10 and 7 for obvious reasons.
I think I hate all of them equally. Also, two of them are from my hometown, so this could be interesting to see them on the feeds talking about a pretty small city by South Florida standards.

BB casting playbook. They all have some combination of these traits The weird personality mashup. aka hippie hillbilly, or someone who looks like they should be a MAGA guy but is actually extremely liberal Meathead white male Southern belle blonde (who is obviously dumb) Rocker chick sassy hispanic Social Media Influencer female who sells MLM products (who is obviously dumb) nerdy with a heart of gold (bonus points if they are a virgin) Minority who looks like a dumb model but is actually an attorney/scientist/doctor Elder stateseman who is going to be the mother/father figure of the group. Awkward penguin female who dresses quirky and wants a woman to win Hipster white guy who looks homeless The funny LGBTQ+ player everyone expects to be a schemer but just floats all season The uber douche white guy The male who looks like he should be a comp beast but never wins a damn thing The person who is overcoming some personal trauma by coming on the show. The mama's boy The actual MAGA person who ends up the villain of the season. Has a catch phrase or stupid nickname that they think will make them memorable The person who thinks they need to lie about their lame job to stay under the radar. The egomaniac who thinks they can control the season wire to wire. I think I covered it all.
That's because they cast actual people and not these Instagram wannabe influencers we get every season now.
Favorite part of first episode so far was when they had the houseguests in the isolated picture watching the stupid laser thing and you could literally hear them thinking "holy shit is this stupid and cheesy, even for BB"
I know I was hard negative about the cast, but if we are being honest, it's too early to know anything. All we got last night was canned intros and some competitions.
Just started episode 1 but... That ventriloquist doll from Vanderbilt is definitely the president of a young Republican group, right?
Just spectacularly terrible game play already. They think they have 8(with Jared) and Reilly tells them that the whole house knows they are together and says maybe we should vote out Felicia and bring Kirsten into our alliance which would give them a 9-7 advantage going forward and they all just stair into space. That said, I know it would not have worked out because Jared has planted himself in their alliance and they probably lose the vote 6-7 which leads to him losing an opportunity by helping Reilly push the plan forward and exposing their group and he could easily create doubt in their group about who defected.
yea it has been awful so far. Doesn't help that some of the best eye candy went out in the first two weeks. If this can't save the show, nothing will.
I think they are focusing on the wrong stuff. All this cheesy shit needs to go - like the ray gun thing at the beginning was so stupid, so is the nether region shit. Also, the twists need to be better. The secret relationship is so dumb, only benefits 2 people. Gives then such an advantage unless someone knows/finds out and blows them up. Twists like that should be available to all the players, not just 2.
yea, there's so much focus on set design and coming up with cheesy names for the twists that the twists themselves get zero thought and have sucked entirely.
