Barstool did their Bracket Busters thing today and seemingly every single content person was involved except Castellini. He wrote a blog bitching about it and awkwardly taking shots at content people...including Francis. Francis then wrote a blog that lit Castellini up and said that he "sits on a house of cards" and made a reference to a restraining order. Castellini responded with another blog and in it made a comment that he hopes Francis's wife gets sick. He also said he only has two months left on his contract and assumes he's gonna be out of a job. Dude has lost it. I think they told him they didn't have any extra space for him to work and then unveiled that massive office the next day. They probably underestimated the issues the kid had. Their other "wack packers" they hired may not have had it all together, but were at least employed and indepedent adults.
Also, sounds like Dave gave him a chance at one point to keep his job by just blogging sports and staying out of the mud. Hard to help someone that won't help themselves.
He had quite the strange character arc during his time there. Feel good story as he got hired for his dream job while working at a gas station. Putters around for a while trying to find his niche...co-workers seem to like him. Goes on one company trip and falls in love with a co-worker and makes her completely creeped out. Goes to rehab due to drinking tons of shots of Captain Morgan's while living in the basement with his parents. Progressively starts losing place in the company...which turns his mentals pretty negative and starts making him dislike the co-workers that he thought were his BFFs/co-workers don't want anything to do with him either. Loses job with two months left. I'd imagine they cut ties with him two months to go, just because he was getting more and more unhinged and didn't want him to do something wild while still working under the name. He's obviously super socially awkward due to his autism...he got thrust into a wild place for that and it kind of blew up on him.

He apparently does live steams every night that have become increasingly unhinged where he has talked about this stuff. Reddit will usually give the cliffs. I think he also some "fans" that gas him up and have given him some delusions. If I was related to him, I would tell him to get off the internet and find something else to do with his life.

Social media attention is a newly developing disease/sickness, and Alex is ate up with it. She yearns for the attention of strangers more than that of her husband, real friends, etc. The only cure is actually becoming famous, which I'm quite sure she'll never be.
