I think I may be the only one on Barstool that is bothered by this, but I HATE the picture of the pizza they use at the beginning of the pizza reviews. Love hearing the music at the beginning, but that pizza shot they use at the beginning looks worse than a pie from Little Caesars.
Was catching up on an old Power Hour with Dave, Rone, and Glenny Balls. Dave explaining to Glenny about the thanksgiving football game between Nantucket and the Vineyard and how one town will get on a steamship and head over to the other to play the game. Don't know if I've ever laughed harder when Glenny asked if they play on the ship and compared it to the basketball teams playing on the aircraft carrier. Dave going at him was laugh out loud funny.
Sounded way too urban legend-y for me. And his connection too it didn't sound personal. Asa has been a great addition, I think. But its still really hard to listen to her talk about her relatively normal life without thinking about the number of times I've watched her get ravaged on camera.
i gotta be honest with you here, helping or trying to help big cat book guests the first few weeks when pmt kicked off is pretty damn cool now looking back on it. humble brag of sorts but cool nonetheless
Not sure if I should love or hate that the RU barstool contingent consists of Intern Tex and our Australian backup punter. Tex is a wildcard I'll give him that
Big Cat finally coming out this week that he grew up in Mass. Always wondered why that was kept on the dl
As long as you live and die something your whole life, what does it matter? Like him having family in Chicago, I have family in Columbus and Buffalo, NY but grew up in Nashville, before we had sports teams. If you visit family and grow up loving a city's teams, it is what it is. He should not have to defend it.
after seeing Rone on snaps, videos and on the Dave Portnoy Show, he is pretty much just Ben Schwartz who can rap battle. Not that I dislike it or anything. He is just a snarky dude.
It's not like he has tried to pull double market fandom right? Non issue. I'm assuming everyone knows PFT's real identity?
People found the wedding website and blew up the guestbook, harassed his wife on Facebook, tried to contact her at work, called the wedding venue, etc.
If anyone would call him out for that it would be pretty dumb because being a Chicago sports fan in Boston for those years is like the exact opposite of a bandwagon fan lol. Boston wins in everything. That KFC radio with Big Cat was awesome though, love the behind the scenes stuff when they are just talking about barstool in general.
Met Big Cat and PFT yesterday at the Natty bus in Indy. Big Cat is pretty thick and PFT was rather tiny
they said mrs katz a few times in the kfc radio interview. so i assumed. i don't blame him. so, nobody knew what pft looked like until this summer? he came out at nantucket?
Think they said Miss Cat not Katz Nah it was much earlier than Nantucket, think it was about a few weeks before grit week in May so probably April
I thought he said "Ms. Cat," but you may be right. As for PFT, he had public appearances, but always wore some kind of disguise like a mustache and sunglasses inside, etc.
Was wondering when he would get to Lombardi's. Probably the best pizza I've ever had, sad pres wasn't impressed
