Im ok w it. 4 seasons is a good run for a show like this.

Fourth and final "Banshee" season debuts on Cinemax on Jan. 29.

 

Started watching this about a week ago on the advice of a friend. Already halfway through the second season. Fantastic show.

"Hood" gets to sleep with a ridiculously hot lineup of women, but god damn if he doesn't deserve it with the beatings he takes every week.

IMDB tells me the first season was the weakest review wise, I am excited to power through the last half until the final season in April.

 

I can't wait to see what they do now that they know it the last season. Shit is going to hit the fan.

I had no idea Eliza Dushku was guest starring this season.

I love the Lucas character, but, considering the end of the episode, the level of women he gets to fuck in some backwoods town makes me also hate him a little bit, deep down.

 

This show is ridiculous and I love it. But how many psychos killers, criminals and sadist can live in that close of a proximity ? lol

 

Fucking love this show. I mean sure it's not really realistic that all this shit is going down in this small town and no one bigger has come in to just blow shit away.

But the fights are always entertaining, lots of action and guns. Lots of fucking. Seems pretty likeable to me.

 

Totally spaced out after the first episode and my new dvr wasn't set to record. Gonna have to bang out the rest of the episodes tonight

I look at it as a super hero show that happens to have real people. It works in that context.

 

Pretty great chick fight last night.

Also, they went to A LOT of trouble to get Eliza topless, and still avoid showing her nipples.

 

This season is my least favorite so far. It seems so disconnected. I get that season 3 was so great and it is hard to match that, but I'm just not feeling the storylines. They all better snap out of it soon. This pity party is irritating.

This episode was better, but the season is definitely disconnected.

 

The episodes have gotten better as the season goes, the first few were terrible. Worst season of this show, but does suck theres only 1 left and the series is done.

 

The finale was satisfying, the show had a good run.

 

Farewell Banshee

 

For a show as over the top crazy as Banshee, I thought the finale was a little too "neat" in how it closed out everything. But I still enjoyed it.

 

Dang. Proctor had a pretty bad day.

 

I actually enjoyed the ending but it was definitely a lot more matter of fact for every character, one by one than I thought it'd be but I thought it was a nice twist for once. Seeing exactly how every character you've been attached to for multiple seasons is going to turn out and what their future holds was kinda nice.

I will admit I was extremely satisfied when Hood came back to life, summoned strength from every fight, fuck up, death and his daughter to fuck bow tie up.

 

I feel bad for the guys that have to over analyze this show, knowing you need to suspend rational thinking to enjoy it the first place.

Fun show. had a good run.

I enjoyed the entire series for what it was and would definitely recommend it to most of the folks I know who are into guilty pleasure shot-em-up shows. I respect the hell out of them calling it quits after 4 seasons rather than pulling a Dexter and making me loathe myself for not being able to give up on a show that no longer resembles its original incarnation.

I think I'm gonna start over with strike back now. I got behind at least a season.

 

Feels so weird that its done. It moved beyond guilty pleasure for me. Really loved it. Always entertained from start to finish.

 

Loved the show and miss it already. Guess I'll give outcast a try

 

Been binging this and I hate his hair. It looks like that kid that got his hair burred a few times a year. Love the show though.

 

Amazingly entertaining show. If you like this also watch Warrior. Same type of character interactions and showrunner.

 

It was a great show, favorite non-sex/non-violence parts were Sugar and Job sniping at each other.
