how has everyone's freshmen looked? Finally got a look at John Collins, Doral Moore, and Bryant Crawford. no pics of Anthony Bilas yet
Not much to go off of yet, they participated in their first scrimmage against the alumni the other day, but didn't get much run.
We have one, PF Jarred Reuter. He's built like a linebacker and probably eats bricks for breakfast, but he's about as below the rim as they come. I'm not certain he can dunk. Should be fun to see what he becomes, because by 2019 he could either be an All-ACC guy or a 8 and 4 guy at Providence. Also have a RS Freshman Kiwi named Jack Salt. 7 footer, former volleyball player. Even less of a clue what to expect from him.
ND loses a lot but should finish in the #3-6 range I think. Jackson and Auguste should compete for all conference honors, Vasturia turned into a beast by the end of the year, and if Beachem gets his head straight he can turn into a stud. Freshmen look like a solid crop too.
Jonathan Isaac So much help and guidance to get to this point! But in making my own decision I've closed my recruitment and commit to FSU!! #GoNoles ⚫️
thought UNC/UK was gonna be a permanent fixture again after the one year break, but that doesn't appear to be the case, no matchup this year
no idea, just gonna go ahead and blame it on them though we do play next year, but it's part of that thing with UCLA and Ohio State in the Barclays center, taking on UCLA this year
Shiggityshwo what will ticket prices be like for a weekday big game? similar to the Louisville game last year ($70 for lower level) or closer to the duke game (my first born son for mezz. seats)?
Jon Rothstein ✔@JonRothstein ACC Power Rankings: UNC, Virginia, Miami, Duke, Louisville, ND, NC State, FSU, Syracuse, VT, GT, Clemson, Pitt, Wake Forest, BC. think we will be much better than 14th tbh
shitty they always put a big rival at home during end of xmas break...then get said team on their final home game
Let's hope Bacon and Beasley are everything they should be. With them and XRM we should have some offensive firepower for the first time since Toney Douglas.
i am insanely nervous about this year. regardless of how the investigation turns out, the 2016 class is already tanked (although hopefully bradley committing will help gain some momentum). duke is reloading next year and we could be relatively down for a few years. this will be the last great title shot we have for a bit also marcus is such a great kid and i really wanna see him go out on top bc he has earned his success.
I just wanna see a year where we start off playing at an elite level instead of waking up come February That and a deep tourney run And I guess some kind of ACC championship Would be cool to sweep Duke for once too
you've finally come around to admitting it should be interesting to see how the transition from roy years goes down
i haven't denied that fact? we lose marcus, brice and probably justin this year. that's our top 3. recruiting will pick back up but barring a miracle it won't be until next year's cycle. not worried about the roy replacement though. we've shown the ability to replace a HoFer before. think he has a good 5-7 years left anyways duke replacing k is gonna be the more interesting situation. every other blue blood has replaced their best coach and had some growing pains. duke is the only one that hasn't had that yet. will be interesting to see how it works for them
Just hope we don't try to "keep it in the family" for the next hire, not much out there under the family tree until Kendall decides to become a coaching superstar
