You think? I remember him being super over as a face around the time he had that 3 way with Cena/Lesnar at the Rumble. He's super talented in the ring and promos fine. And slightly undersized compared to most of the main event scene. You can work with that. Add to that he could be relatable as a father who wants to do right now that he has purpose. Styles, Owens, Rollins, Morrison, Keith Lee, Big E, Riddle, and Nakamura are all guys they should be pushing to the moon as faces right now, and see who gets white hot enough to be a credible challenger to Lashley/Reigns after you do the retreads of Rock/Cena/Goldberg. The crowd is about to turn on Goldberg. I'd have him go full heel and run a program with Riddle, building off the natural heat between the two and elevating Riddle to the next level. Riddle's path should be something like Goldberg, Orton, and then perhaps he's in a position to take the title off Lashley at Mania.
Rollins was never over like Goldberg/Cena/Rock. Partly, because no one gets booked like Goldberg, Cena, and the Rock. It’s like Vince forgot part of the way those guys got over (less so for the Rock because of his charisma and Goldberg got over because of the way WCW booked him) is the way HE booked them.
Of course he's not at that level. Who is? Vince better figure out a way to make his current employees stars and in a hurry. The past 20 years he was able to bullshit and bring back Goldberg, Cena, Lesnar, etc. Well the game's changed, AEW is creating a metric shit ton of young stars (it's incredible how much of their roster is under 25), Vince's retreads are close to expiring, and the momentum is clearly swinging in AEW's direction. They could pass Raw in the ratings before football season gets here. Very interested to see how much Punk/Bryan move the needle. You also have the entire Wyatt family available to debut in a few months. The situation is dire for WWE. It's finally fun to be a wrestling fan again, instead of being force fed whatever Vince wants to give us.
Apparently being booked in a feud with Orton or being booked to be attacked by him means your impending release now of days
Agree Cole has done it all in NXT. I'm not feeling O'riley feud. Whoever said he get lost in aew crazy hed be the 3rd best behind Bryan and Punk.
I must include Pac in my top 4.. just wish he was solo will Hobbs top 5. Tazz son horrible at everything
Maybe the worst take in this thread. What would be wrong with a Horseman reunion somewhere in the Carolinas on TNT? Right into my veins.
What's the story there? Arn and Tully are nowhere near each other . Cody has a show to film and Ric will do anything for money anything is possible. Not offical until JJ is in that picture also anyway.
There has been talk the Plane Ride from Hell Dark Side episode coming this fall is going to be very bad for Ric. I am not sure he will even be welcome anywhere if that’s true.
Lol the only person who gets booked to win all the fucking time's dad is now pissed at her winning a million titles
Joe/Cross stuff is great (I can see those who are bummed out because of what's happening on RAW, but I don't watch RAW so Idc) Cole and Kyle is solid but glad it's hopefully ending at takeover Legado and Hit Row is good. I really like both groups. They Way is very entertaining but looks like they are breaking up. Dakota turning on Gonzalez was well done Breakout tournament is ok Diamond Mine stuff sucks... I don't get why Strong and Fish hate each other.
Wwe pretty much on a hold basis till the Oct draft banks? And Becky. Where yall think Omos is a year from now? That was his first single match I remember. Corny thinks Riddle will be a world champion within a year
AEW is about to put two former best friends in the locker room that sued each other for a million dollars. I think Arn and Ric can work it out for a few one-off appearances.
I'm pretty sure the draft is going to be the end of August, that would take us past Summer Slam and maybe Payback. I think you see the current stuff extend out (roman/cena/balor, Edge/Seth, Uso's/Dom-Rey) as they also keep Big E hot and build this new Corbin storyline on Smackdown. Not really sure what they do with Goldberg/Lashley post Summer Slam. They haven't built a challenger on the baby face side in months outside outside Riddle but he's in the mix with Orton right? They have kept Kofi off tv since his loss to Lashley so maybe they could run that back for Payback till the roster is churned. I think between Kofi, Balor(maybe?), Lee you could see Lashley carry the title to Mania. That could lead us to a world where Riddle wins the Rumble and has to choose the champion for his Mania match. Riddle picks (Lashley?) the RAW title holder and Big E coming out and announcing he's cashing in the MiTB at Mania against Roman. At that point you have two (hopefully) very well built up baby faces that the iwc and general fans seem to really love challenging two of the best booked heel champions in some time.
Fans did her dirty in the wwe. She was amazing for someone making their first run. I'd welcome her back when she is ready. She needs a brock type schedule though. She needs to be a special attraction
Oh no doubt. Best rookie year in WWE ever IMO. However, being mad that the fans didn’t give her unwavering adoration was her downfall. She should’ve embraced the boos and became a female Brock Lesnar from that point
Good job WWE of cutting the legs completely out from Joe/Kross by having your undefeated monster champ lose 2 of his past 3 matches on Raw. This felt hot when Joe redebuted and now, nothing.
- Index is happening - I still don’t want The Way to breakup - Ready for Walter - More Zoey Stark/Io Sharai adventures please - Don’t care about the breakout tournament - Let’s go Dakota Kai
Ronda ain't wrong. Don't forget his in peson debut as Bray Wyatt started with the idiot WWE fans chanting "Husky Harris"
I don t know about that. She was very good for a rookie but she was put into the main event too early. It was very obvious that physically and especially on the mic, she was not ready. So the fans turning on her pretty much immediately was expected. I too would like to see another run from her, provided she reigned in her smiley, I’m just happy to be here, persona
Not wrong, but to be fair, fans quickly fell in love with his character(s). His career basically consisted of fans wishing he'd get a proper push and end feuds with a win for a change. Frustration around Bray was almost always directed at the booking he was forced to yield to.
