Almost finished with the first book. Trying to hold off to finish the trilogy before watching.

Two episodes in, not sure how I feel about this video game component but otherwise I’m interested enough to continue.

Somehow I never got around to reading the book. If I like the show by the end I’ll finally get off my ass and read it.

 

He carries that show as far as he could. Emo Day in season 2 was a poor choice along with a host of other narrative choices that made me stop watching around S2E5

 

I really enjoyed it, will probably read the first book at some point this year, maybe after I finish my current read

just finished episode 5 and hot damn that was great. I wasn't sure how far they'd take the nano fiber thing but damn they went alll the way, and the message at the end with how they're in control and we can't do anything was great. Cool show so far

 

Watching the Chinese version. Have subtitles on but really wish they would have translated the Chinese text from the on screen graphics too.

 

If you're watching on prime, there's going to be an episode about a third of the way through the season where the subtitles are off by like 10 or 15 seconds. I tried restarting and logging out then in so I'm almost 100% sure it was an issue on their end.

Finally got around to watching this, I really liked it. I will say that I enjoyed the front half of the season more than the back half.

 

VR stuff reminds me of this show, which wasn't renewed for a S2
