Some of these national media guys who you would think would be pretty immune to criticism have the thinnest skin. Just don't go in the comments you lunatic
That feels more understandable. Most people seem to expect the expanded 12-team layoff to basically have a Notre Dame auto-bid because Notre Dame.

Top 100 players going into 2024: https://www.cbssports.com/college-f...-10-colorado-star-at-no-1-in-spring-rankings/ (list is bad)
I'm sure a lot of it is due to the coach mismanaging them but anyone that watched Travis Hunter after the first few weeks probably would say the tape doesn't match the ranking. If he only played one side of the ball it could but right now I'd strongly disagree.
Hunter got some really bad advice. Needed a grown up to step in and tell him to not bet his future on a guy just because he was your favorite CB growing up.
He just needed to go to a place with a real S&C program imo. Maybe Colorado has that. If not, his decisions are gonna cost him a lot of money.
Not to feed OSU disrespect stuff on the internet, but Tuimoloau not being listed in a top 100 players ranking is kind of insane. He's been a disappointment to some degree but he's still really good and would have at least gone somewhere in the top 50 if he declared this year. And ranking a center who can't snap on the same list is also odd.
Tuimoloau has been inconsistent. There are two Penn State games where he was matched with Fashanu and Tuimoloau looked like a top-10 overall pick. There are other games you don’t even notice he played. Jack Sawyer played his best two games to close the season. I’m interested to see if that carries over and how it can free up Tuimoloau.
There was buzz that Tuimoloau was leaving, then the NIL truck dumped cash and/or he didn’t like his draft grade. I agree that he likely wasn’t slipping to 3rd round, and is looking to solidify himself as 1st round by coming back. CB Burke, DE Sawyer, DT Williams, and Tuimoloau all are playing 2024 to solidify themselves as first rounders and each would be after 20 or so in this draft.
I regret to inform the haters that McLaughlin's snap issues have been fixed. They were an issue due to poor coaching.
Wolf was terrible, but he had issues prior to him too. Honestly I think he just got the yips and that was never going to correct itself unless he got a fresh start somewhere else.
We had McLaughlin at center with the first unit in the Spring game. Our 2023 center Hinzman (RS soph for 2024) started at guard. Two things can kill us in 2024, we still don’t know what we have at QB until we see it for real and our OL has to improve. Everything else is elite.
