Agree. Playing teams like UT Martin, Ball St and Auburn is laughable. Wish we didn’t play 3 cupcakes but I don’t get to make the schedule
How can anyone be given a bye the week before the conference championship game? That’s a totally wild idea.
I have a hard time thinking they’re making a conscious competitive effort to give priority to one team in their conference over others. I know that possibility provides all sorts of fun message board and social media banter, but a serious leader of a conference would never allow that to be how they make decisions. It’s unfathomable. I honestly think they probably couldn’t figure out the logistics of scheduling properly without making this concession. Which is outrageously funny in its own right, albeit less provacative.
Also, the conference isn’t intentionally going to favor a school that won’t be in the league the following year.
Seems like I would get out in front of this if it’s not pedo stuff because that is where the mind goes when you hear about computers being seized. I do remember a few years ago a story about a guy that worked for an MLB from office that still had a former co workers password and logged into another teams system. That guy ended up doing actual prison time.
That guy got almost 4 years. At least that was his sentence. Not sure how much of that he ended up serving.
