He played very well for us. I think if there was no transfer ban, he’d be our player. It seems like Lampard likes him and you couldn’t get a replacement, so it’s a funny pipe dream.

 

I doubt it. We would have to upgrade on him and even if we could buy, I don’t see who we could have realistically gotten in this window to replace him. Still could end up an Everton player but probably at least a year or 2 from now. Depends on how he looks for us. If sarri stayed he would be an Everton player. He’s not a good enough passer for sarri and sarri doesn’t really care how his defenders defend.

Owsley Assume Laca would be sold, if this were to occur. It would allow PEA to be played through middle, bookended by Coutinho & Pepe... which does create more balance in the 1st Eleven & doesn't toss PEA out left, where he is a shadow of himself

 

Does Laca want to leave? Because I’d much rather keep him than PEA.

 

Both apparently have new contracts tabled. New regeim taking the accept, or be sold approach... which is shockingly a change in policy for us. I personally doubt both will be around past this season.

I prefer selling Laca, despite him being younger. He's more limited, less dynamic & struggled to score against top teams. PEA will begin to lose step, over time, but isn't dependent on speed despite being quick as hell... He is world class & Laca is not

 

Nah PEA is twice the player of Laca. Not worried about his age yet because his playing style is going to age really nicely

 

Plus, pepe’s pace will help both
