I’ve been “out” once from getting my wisdom teeth removed about 7-8 years ago. I apparently asked for medical marijuana. Woke up on my dads couch with no recollection of coming home. Joined a conference call later that day and said my piece perfectly. Took an edible I had snuck back home from the west coast and that mixed with the leftover effects from the anesthesia or whatever was one of the craziest highs I have ever had
We'll have to await the opinion of sweatshirt connoisseur, Gunners , and whether we should hate that clothing manufacturer or not before we make any final judgements.
They are supposed to break ground on the new hockey arena in June and it be ready for the 2026 season.
When they still played on the side of St. John, they used to dump the shaved ice from the Zamboni on the side of the building in a parking lot. My BIL had a four keg party, put the kegs on the edge of the bed of an old S-10 pickup truck and we shovelled as much ice as he needed. We had to wait in line behind other people with other kegs also shoveling ice.
Remind me: did you do the repair or the scope? I go back in April then will probably be setting a day to get my knee addressed. Not too keen on 6 weeks non weight-bearing but I also don’t want to deal with other shit down the road. I have no idea what to do.
It ended up being the scope. He told me he gave me a 35% chance for a repair, but wouldn’t know until he got in there, to truly see the depth of the tear. When over he told me that it was definitely needed and tore but it wasn’t repairable but was able to save a lot of good cartilage remaining and was happy. i had no idea what I wanted 6 weeks non weight bearing was scary
My dorm room freshman year at Kent was right next to the ice arena and they always dumped the zamboni shavings outside. The infamous shower kegs of 96 were kept cold using it for an entire weekend.
This team is so fun to watch under Diebler I know you can’t keep him as the head guy but damn he can coach Battle is an animal
I was out to dinner and didn't see a second of the game...shocked we beat them without Bruce. Good shit.
Was happy Tominaga was terrible after he fell down on a 3 he wasn’t touched If there ever should be a tech for flopping, that was it I like the Royal-EJ comparison and Diebler rewarded him starting the 2nd half
Cool thing, when we’re in the tourney we don’t have to deal with B1G refs. Keisei getting to come off screens without getting elbowed and held every single time…. Weird, 5 road B1G games and 1 road B12 (ex) foe…
Also of note, my Alma Mater being 1 of the other 4 screw job teams just proves the NCAA’s Anti-Dirt conspiracy. Thanks for simping the DEEP STATE haters!
Got chipotle after the game and they were blasting CREAM and best meal from them in months. Same crew typically has dreadful rap music and food isn’t great but Inspectah Deck must have inspired them.
21-13 means beating TTUN and Rutgers in the regular season. That would mean OSU goes 3-7 in Quad 1 games and 4-4 in Quad 2 games (with one Quad 3/4 loss) before the tournament. 21-13 also means two wins and one loss in the conference tournament. Assuming that favorites win the remaining regular-season games (with OSU beating TTUN and Rutgers), OSU would be a 9-seed in B1G tournament. We'd play Maryland (8-seed) after an opening bye and then face Purdue (1-seed). Maryland would be a Quad 2 win and Purdue would naturally be a Quad 1 win. We'd then likely face and lose to either Nebraska (4-seed) or Wisconsin (5-seed). Either would be a Quad 1 loss. Again, those match-ups assume that favorites win out in the regular season. So... 21-13 would mean that OSU finishes with a 4-8 Quad 1 record and a 5-4 Quad 2 record. I think that would put us right on the bubble with some optimism. Perhaps we'd get one of those play-in games. What OSU would have going for it is a great finish that started immediately with our new coach. The second Purdue win would look really good and it would happen early enough for the committee to consider it, though they don't tend to care about conference tournament outcomes. OSU would be a really good story, which the committees do like. When you're the bubble, making it into the tournament has everything to do with the resumes of other teams. It's all relative. Some years the bubble is strong. Sometimes it's weak. Sometimes a huge underdog wins it's lower-conference tournament, which could great a two-bid conference that would have otherwise had only one team make it. Too many variables when you're on the bubble. Long story short... Spoiler
Neither was I. I was curious, too. I knew I had gone too far when I researched the likely seeds of other teams in the conference tournament. I might have a problem.
Dry as can be all week. I imagine it changes tomorrow but been working ass off to get in shape since the first of the year. Still up enjoying some late night basketball.
My unconditional love for Shaun is the only reason I haven’t DDOS’d this so called “RELOAD THAT CHIP” (Kelly or Tortilla we ask) ‘thread’. Jokes on user “Gunners” (if that’s his legal name) but I’ve preemptively instituted the best e-lawyers in the ‘biz’ to countersuit into oblivion “buddy”.
