Sat through a lecture a couple weekends ago about the AI software battle that’s starting between insurance companies and hospitals.
Here’s what pisses me off most about insurance. I look into something that I absolutely would not do without insurance. I get a pre-approval so I do it. I then get denied after it is done and I’m on the hook for it. Maybe it’s shady insurance company, maybe it’s shady medical practice, but in the end it fucks me.
Sorry this is off topic, but can someone ELI5 why it's taken four fucking years for the Trump cases to go to trial? We all saw Jan 6 happen in real time. But to go back and think on Jan. 6, 2021 that he wouldn't even stand trial during the entire Biden term would've seen unfathomable.
Depends on the case, but Trump's lawyers have taken every opportunity to delay the cases. NYC case has moved the fastest because there were less ways for them to delay. The Florida case is being heard by a Trump appointee, who more than that - is just a joke and helping delay. The Georgia case had some extremely poor decision making by the prosecutor that delayed things.
