Just spoke to Joe Tipton and Holloway is on campus for his visit with Alabama. I have one source telling us this could happen quick. But nothing definite on a decision yet. FYI
feel like this happens a lot with our transfer targets. get em on campus and they walk away committed.
I mean, I've certainly been a Rylan critic at times but he did double his scoring output from last season and shot 39% from 3 on 5.3 attempts per game with only 1.4 turnovers. We certainly could do much worse...and if he makes a similar leap next year he could have been one of best players. Not a backbreaker by any means but a nice guy to keep and have some continuity in the program. Again, it's a weird thing for him to say but maybe he's just a weird personality.
Was about to post that. It's a new weekend of SEC Baseball so of course that means games against yet another #1 ranked team. Last week's #1 was knocked off the perch by Alabama. This week's #1 ... is Texas A&M. As luck would have it, perhaps as bad luck would have it, Alabama draws yet another number one. The big news in tonight's Game One ... for the first time this season, Alabama will go with Greg Farone as the "Friday night starter". He's the new P1 for the Tide. Ben Hess has been in that role all season but has struggled as of late. He is being moved to the P2 position. He will start tomorrow night's game. The game tonight from The Joe will begin at 6 pm CT. It will air on SEC Network. It can also be heard on 100.9 FM Tuscaloosa and the Varsity App. Alabama is ranked as high as 12th in the nation this week, a really remarkable start to the Rob Vaughn Era. But it's the SEC so being ranked 12th doesn't mean you won't be often up-staged. The #1 beside the Aggies logo will do that just. They are putting together an unbelievable season down in College Station. Ryan Prager, a lefty, is scheduled to start for A&M. Alabama won 2 of 3 from the Aggies last season in Texas. Alabama sits at 24-13, 6-9 in the SEC.
He played great during our tournament run. He was shooting with confidence. He lacks elite athleticism imo but when he’s on he can stroke it
and he’s crafty as fuck in the paint. So many moves. If we had a post guy with half the moves he does in the post we’d be so deadly. That dude got moves for days. Smooth as fuck. Enjoyed watching him play. Seems like a guy who will be a star for years in the euro leagues.
This guy likes his wieners thick, you've got to respect that. Also, I had no idea our dogs were so good at the baseball stadium.
Runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 down B4. aTm making a pitching change. Let’s put a crooked number up here.
