The argument is that he’s a cheap, semi-viable backup when most backups are pushing 10 million a year. Moore is a nothing though, fast but not especially sudden or quick, doesn’t generate much separation
Right. He's a 5'7" gadget player who has returned one punt and zero kickoffs in the last two seasons. He played 17 games last season and caught 40 passes for 352 yards and 1 TD (also had 28 carries for 178 yards). If he's going to continue not returning kicks and punts, that type of player either has to double the offensive output to stay on the field or he probably shouldn't be on your roster. Ridder stinks as a starting QB, but he's probably somewhere on the higher end as a back-up and you're getting him on a rookie deal for 2 years. That seems like pretty good value.
If Reader is healthy and still the player he's been, that has a chance to be a massive addition for Detroit. Perfect fit in many ways for what they have and want to do.
I mean it’s an even trade with more upside if Ridder can start a few games if they trade Murray. Moore is a classic overhyped fantasy sleeper who isn’t anything more than roster depth.
wonder if we get a comp pick for those 5 mintues. hopefully Bills take that money and sign a worthwhile safety
I am very pleasantly surprised by our FA period thus far. Baalke definitely going to punish the fans during the draft for this but I’ll take it.
I really enjoyed what Ryan Nielsen did in Atlanta this year, I think he will be good with all those DL in Duval.
Apparently he loves man coverage which is why we let Darius Williams go. Nervous about that change because we don’t have the CB personnel for that.
This isn't really any kind of investment, but it's still weird to see Philly spending like this at some of these positions lower on the pay scale.
