Feels like a few CBs with a 1st round grade could fall to our second pick

Johnny Wilson is someone who might be available at pick 79. 6’6 235 and ran 4.52

Not sure if we need another 6’5+ guy out there running around though.

Interesting to see how analysts are claiming this draft is very top heavy and the later round picks don't provide as much value as in year's past. Only 58~ underclassmen declared, a by product of NIL and covid years.

Curious what the thought on Flacco was after seeing him go to Indy in a backup role for $8.5m.

Nagging thought on Cousins is when he'll be ready to play and how far he'll take the team. Falcons are still firmly behind the Eagles, 49ers, Lions, Rams in the NFC. Was $45m worth it to win the division but not advance to Super Bowl and wind up with a mid-20's draft pick with no clarity yet on future QB? Could Flacco/Fields have done the same with a QB at 8 and money spent on free agency? Granted, relatively average QB salary in today's NFL and extreme nitting in hindsight.

Wouldn't mind trading back at all. Not too far that we can still get a top DE or WR but someone will be desperate for a QB.

Moore is tiny but I have faith a Mcvay protege can get him in space and let that speed go to work.

Yeah, love that return. Former 2nd rounder who's still only 23 and sub-4.4 40 guy. Been hurt a lot and played in a shit show passing offense with Murray being hurt a lot too, so hopefully we're buying low.

We have to be announcing more cuts, right? Also, we better still draft a WR early in the draft.

Moore is quicker than a hiccup when healthy, that pretty much rules out Ladd at 43 but I still want a young WR and CB early in 2/3. Cheap vets aren't gonna cut it.

I’d temper expectations on Moore. He seems to be straight line speed and little else, with a penchant for injury.

If one of Nabers/Odunze is there at 8 along with Turner, where do you go? Pass rusher has been such a black hole for so long, and I obviously love DT, but if you can grab one of those two WR I think you have to load up on that side.

I like Nabers a lot. I might have to take him at 8 and edge at 43.

Where is Verse projected to go? If you could trade back into the teens and still grab him, that seems like a home run.

I dont see us taking a wr early with these adds. Add a legitimate pass rush and our team is extremely solid with legitimate QB play.

What logic are you using? We haven’t had an edge pass rush in forever and still refused to sign an edge rusher.

which is why I think it’s a no brainer we go Turner or Verse, though it wouldn’t shock me if we took Terrian Arnold and drafted an edge round 2.

like 8/11 of our top salary cap hits are offensive players, just feels like 2 out of our first 3 are gonna be D help.

I don’t care though if Nabers is there, f it, take him and play games like we are in the Big 12

Cutting Hughes, Ogundeji, Heinicke, and Carter would save the Falcons about $17 million.

Yeah. I imagine it would be something like extending him and converting some of his salary to a bonus so he still gets a decent amount but spread out over a couple years.
