I do like Gayle and Thornton, tho they need to be more consistent. Felix id like to keep around for defense and depth, but his offense is nonexistent. Would like to keep the freshman. Think that only leaves us with the transfers and end of bench guys. Obviously they can all go. (I like Battle, but assume he has no eligibility left)
We'll always find something to complain about. I'll take your Women's BBall corch to corch our fellas if it works better on your end.
Gotta assume McDermott will be at the top of a lot of lists, bc he was heavily rumored the last time.
Too old imo. I'd take a look at Pat Kelsey as well as Paris. I've heard Sean Miller's name too, but I wonder if he is in entering into warshed territory. Xavier is pretty bad this year.
Holtmann is only 52, so he surely is going to coach again, but being owed $12.4 million with a daughter in junior high would make me think twice about uprooting the family. My nephew is dating Al Golden’s youngest daughter, or at least was around Thanksgiving/Christmas. I have everything second hand, but apparently his wife just said no and refused to move from Cincinnati when he changed jobs.
Mildly shocked that Holtmann was fired before his buyout's presumed to be cut in half on April 1st. Doing it now kinda tells me that the back channels have moved swiftly and their guy might be close to being in the bag. Nothing is guaranteed until the ink dries, so this puts OSU in a great position to find a good/great hire. A home run. Still think the most realistic/attractive prospect is Lamont Paris. Otherwise, shooting your shot with pie-in-the-sky Jay Wright would be a solid first overture.
Watched some of the women's game tonight...gat damn they have no chill. Beat a solid Nebraska team that just beat Iowa over the weekend by 33.
It’s going to draw a lot of casual or non-fans, myself included. It’s an easy game to market with the storylines.
