I bought a ton of beer (on top of the 10 pours at the event) because the offerings were so good. 2x4 pack of 6th anny Double Cashmere 2x4 pack of the Juicy Things 2x4 pack of the Rainbow Rumpus 2x500ml bottles of Illusionary Paradise The event ticket also got us a 4 pack of our choice and a 500ml of the BA PRC. Variant can be hit or miss, but this was out of the park. Rainbow Rumpus stole the show for me.
Downtown Roswell I went here one evening after a coffee meet & greet with a client. Beer was really good
Friendly reminder the Breaker Breaker-Rescue Me Georgia Animal Rescue event is tomorrow 11/9 from 5-9pm. Some great ticketed raffle items including some store pick single barrel bottles.
I did in June and it was clearly marked. It was different from previous trip but just keep following the orange arrows.
Just booked a flight to ATL for the Auburn/Indiana game Gonna need some updating on what restaurants and breweries I need to hit up
What are y'all's thoughts on Ph'east at the battery? I like being able to get a bunch of different shit and have the bar right there. But I'm assuming there are a million better asian options in town.
Haven’t been but I like 26 Thai. Not sure if they have any Japanese options but Minato and Yakatori Jinbei are like a half mile away and they rock.
What are your thoughts on B&B's? One of the old timey houses in Inman Park (like the actual park next to Krog) is one. Sugar Magnolia is what it's called. Also, the restaurant in the Hotel Clermont, Tiny Lou's, is actually pretty good. The hotel got a full renovation and is legit now. Srs.
I had no idea the Heirloom chef was a K-Pop star until now. I knew it was an American/Korean couple, but had no idea about the K-Pop. Anyway, for your viewing pleasure, our illustrious chef, Lee Ji-yeon. Spoiler: More Links https://kpopping.com/profiles/idol/Lee-Ji-yeon I discovered this via this article: https://www.eater.com/23950939/heirloom-market-bbq-atlanta-gochujang-beef-rib
Wild Leap is closed all day for a private event on Saturday. What other places around State Farm are solid for a few beers prior to the game?
Not really much over there in terms of breweries. They are just now breaking ground on the larger development in anticipation of the 2026 world cup. Nappy Roots have a brewery on other side of MBS called Atlantucky. Never been myself. https://atlantucky.com/ Park Bar is my favorite pregame spot for the arena; they should have a good selection of local beers.
Ammazza Edgewood closing end of the month b/c of lease gouging they said theyre going to try to look for a new location
Yes, I'd probably just Uber in from West End, West Midtown, Summer Hill, Atlanta Dairies, etc before the game. Maybe even Cobb Co if you want some Factory
I admire your dislike of Buckhead that you would go to Cobb for the Factory over a much closer location.
I wasn't sure if the Factory was still open in Buckhead. I do have to attend a dinner in buckhead soon and it is "jacket required". So fucking stupid. I think I'm going to roll fresh prince style and wear some obnoxiously loud jacket.
The factory is at Lenox Mall. One of the things you see at the front with other elite premium brands Nike and Apple.
Didn't it used to be next to ESPN Zone and world renowned Italian Restaurant "Brio Italian Grille"....by Pharr/Peachtree?
I’ve been to Atlantucky a few times before United games and it’s fine and just a much smaller place than Wild Leap. Good overall and laid back vibe as well. I’ve also been to Bottle Rocket in Castleberry Hill before events at MBS to get a drink. I’m still bummed that Elliott St Pub is gone and that Cam Newton hasn’t done anything with the property as far as I can tell since he purchased it a year ago. He also has a BBQ place (Smokey Stallion) on the other end of the pedestrian bridge from Wild Leap but I’ve never been so I can’t give it a review one way or another.
