People that like Chester’s are like people around here that like Marion’s and Larosa’s. It’s objectively bad pizza but it’s nostalgic so people act like it’s good.

LaRosas is fine, nothing special not terrible, not great.

 

My wife's maiden name is Hester. Her name starts with C. Prior to marriage and her changing her name, her work email was [email protected]. She hated it. I'd eat at Chester's just for laughs.

LaRosas is fine for birthday parties or a quick easy meal on a Friday night when everybody's home and we need a few pies. It's not bad, but it's not the God-level pizza people make it out to be. It's safe and familiar.

Chester's is greasy and delicious. Don't fear an abundance of toppings and order it "in the bag."

Honestly don't recall having Marion's but I'm sure I have. I know Cassano's Pizza King is similar, though, and sometimes that hits just right.

 

The only thing worse than the Cincy high school football circle jerk is the Cincy pizza circle jerk.
