If you are looking for something less formal, you are between River Roads (on Bruce Randolph) coffee and (my favorite) Portside. Coffee shops with elite breakfast sandwiches. obviously you are near rosenbergs too. But I’d advise a trip to onefold on uptown. also had a nice little breakfast recently sitting outside at chef zorbas.
Wow. Every single place looks bomb. Thanks man. Will be checking out a couple of these places today and tomorrow.
I remember my buddy taking me there a couple years ago and he was shocked to see it was closed. It wasn’t the weekend. Can’t remember what day. Just looked at their hours and it seems they’re open every day.
My parents are in town too before leaving for vail today. I’ll let them choose among these recs today then I’ll grab breakfast with my buddy tomorrow.
Where do ya'll take your dogs? I usually go to Westminster, but with the lack of rain its a bit dry. Think we're going to Chatfield today.
Anyone been to 1908(used to be the district)? I feel like it’s a crazy underrated brunch place. 24 bucks for all you can drink breakfast cocktails(they go full out with a Bloody Mary bar too) and the food is really good too.
I am a big fan of spuntino. Can’t really go wrong there. But I guess it just depends what you are looking for that evening. Just some good Italian food?
Up for suggestions! Someone I work with recommended it to me. Formerly lived in Denver, but it’s been 8 years. Now live on the Western Slope (which feels like the other side of the world) and don’t get to the front range super often.
Spuntino is awesome. Uncle is right nearby too. grabbing drinks at Yacht Club and then eating at Brasserie Braxton would be another good move
purchased tickets for the family to opening night vs lakers and then on november 4th against the warriors. i know my 4 year old won’t probably remember, but being able to experience the ring/championship celebration on opening night and watch lebron/steph play is something i am so excited to share with him. glad he can brag to his friends later in life about watching lebron play
Was browsing Zillow and saw a $225k price drop: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2253-S-Fox-St-Denver-CO-80223/13378815_zpid/
Yeah I'm sure it has something to do with the location. Maybe it smells awful. I've just never seen a description like that or a price drop that big that wasn't an error.
I live like 200 yards from Bluebird but I've never heard of literally any act that I ever see on the marquis.
got a trip to Breckenridge/Denver Planned for End of April/Early May for Isbell at Mission and possibly Red Rocks. Got an Airbnb for both Breckenridge and one in RiNo. I want to do the Manitou Incline but I need to get my ass in shape first. My old roommate did it in June in 32 minutes and change. He only ran it to beat his brothers time of 38 min. He said it was the hardest workout he's ever done. I will not be running it. on a scale of casual stroll to This mountain is trying to kill me is this? Also anyone done Loveland Pass/Mt Snikrtu hike? as long as there isnt a crazy amount of snow on the hike apparently @GeorgeCostanza no longer post here. Anyone else done it?
Don’t know shit about the incline other than it’s hard. Don’t “possibly” go to red rocks. GO to red rocks.
sign up for their emails and you’ll get alerts when new shows get added. Plus you get the presale code. the incline is one of those things that I’m not mad that I did but I’ll never do it again. I’d rather do a hike than some stairs challenge. But if you guys are into that thing, go for it. Just go early and figure out the best place to park for it
I will never understand the allure of Manitou Incline. If you want to “challenge” yourself then sure. But if you want a fun, beautiful hike then there are dozens of better options
Since you will be in the area I highly recommend RMNP. Pretty much just pick a trail and you will be in awe. Do you have any kids with you? Just you?
You can definitely tackle an awesome hike that gives you the feeling of “competing” and completing a challenge
Emerald Lake would be a must imo. Never been this time in the year but absolutely beautiful. Crystal Lake Trail could be a real good one and “challenging” one as well for you
You won’t be hiking anything on Loveland Pass that time of year. There will be too much snow on the ground.
have to be careful hiking around May. most mountain hikes will still be covered in snow or inaccessible.
